Fumiferro (Valencia)

Hoy os traemos un nuevo restaurante del que estamos seguras llegará lejos, el local es ideal y su cocina una delicia, os hablamos de Fumiferro, en el barrio del Cabañal, muy cerca de la estación de tren.
Los dueños de Fumiferro han renovado con mucho gusto el local, un espacio amplio y moderno a la vez que calido y agradable, ideal tanto como para una cena entre amigos como para una comida familiar. El servicio muy agradable y atento, no tardarán en servirte y resolver cualquier duda que se te presente.
Ahora hablemos de la comida, producto de cercanía, cuidado con mimo y cuidado, toques a la cocina tradicional de sabores e ingredientes de otras culturas consiguiendo una combinación de sabores que gusta a todos.  

Para comenzar nos sirvieron un snack de tomatitos cherry y toffu, fresco y ligero. Además nos sirvieron una cesta con varios tipos de pan deliciosos (como el de calabaza) y con un aceite de los que te dejan buen sabor de boca, nos lo zampamos casi todo antes de que llegaran los platos.
Nosotros empezamos con varios entrantes en los que se encontraban un tataki de atún delicioso que nos hizo la boca agua sobre una base de tomate y pimientos (muy estilo mediterráneo) y un tiradito de corvina con una salsa thai que no te deja indiferente delicado sabor picante pero muy bien contrarrestado con la leche de coco, se nos hizo corto de lo bueno que estaba. Además disfrutamos de una fresca ensalada de tomate, todo muy fresco para luego empezar con los platos fuertes, y unas verduras en tempura que arrasamos en dos minutos.
De principales escogimos varias opciones según los gustos de cada uno, uno de los platos fue una fantástica fideua con foie, para llevar este ingrediente tan graso no era nada pesada, estaba fantástíca, además probamos su pollo cajún que nos encantó porque no estaba nada seco y tenia un delicioso sabor a brasas y especias y la pluma ibérica que estaba muy tierna también, las dos cosas iban acompañadas de unas ricas patatas caseras en varias versiones acompañadas de mojos. 

Para finalizar pedimos varios postres, uno de los que más gustó en general fue la versión de la tarta de manzana que tenían, además probamos un mousse de queso que estaba muy ligero y un brownie el cual me encanto la asociación de sabores con los cacahuetes, el dulce de leche y el helado de plátano pero la textura del brownie en si, me pareció demasiado compacto.

La verdad es que disfrutamos mucho de la comida y de preció está muy bien, aquí os dejo los datos de contacto y además nos contaron que tienen planeado crear una terraza en la parte de atrás con comida del estilo "street food" así que hay que volver seguro.

Today we bring you a new restaurant that we are sure will reach far, the place is ideal and its cuisine a delight, we speak of Fumiferro, in the neighborhood of Cabañal, very close to the train station.

The owners of Fumiferro have tastefully renovated the place, a spacious and modern space that is both warm and pleasant, ideal both for a dinner between friends and for a family meal. The service very pleasant and attentive, will soon serve you and resolve any questions you may have.

Now let's talk about food, product of closeness, cooked with care, touches to the traditional cuisine but with flavors and ingredients from other cultures getting a combination of flavors that everyone likes.

For starters we were served a snack of cherry and toffu, fresh and light tomatillos. In addition we were served a basket with several types of delicious bread (like the pumpkin) and with an oil of those that leave you good taste, we ate almost everything before the plates arrived.

We started with several starters in which we found a delicious tuna tataki that made our mouth water on a tomato and peppers base (very Mediterranean style) and a toss of corvina with a thai sauce that does not leave you indifferent with a delicate spicy taste but nicely countered with the coconut milk, we wanted more of how good it was. We also enjoyed a fresh tomato salad, all very fresh way to start with before the main courses, and some vegetables in tempura that we devoured in two minutes.

From main we chose several options according to the tastes of each one, one of the dishes was a fantastic fideua with foie, despite this fatty ingredient  it was not heavy, it was fantastic, plus we tried their cajun chicken which we loved because it was not dry and had a delicious taste of embers and spices and Iberian pen that was very tender as well, both were accompanied by rich homemade potatoes in several versions accompanied by mojos.

We ended up ordering several desserts, one of the ones we liked the most was the version of the apple pie they had, plus we tried a cheese mousse which was very light and a brownie which I loved the association of flavors with the peanuts, the dulce de leche and the banana ice cream but the texture of the brownie itself, I found it too compact.

The truth is that we enjoyed the food very much and will return for sure, here I leave the contact details and also told us that they plan to create a terrace in the back with food of the "street food" style so we must return for sure.
